- Key lesson
- Small units can be big performers
Standout features
- Artist-designed, zen interior
- Built for couples
The property
Crystal Cottage is a one-bedroom, artist-designed cottage built for two. It shows how a small footprint with a strong point of view can compete with much larger homes.
What we did
- A distinctive, calm interior with a clear design identity that guests remember and mention in reviews.
- Everything a couple needs, nothing they don’t, which keeps setup and turnover costs lean.
The result
Crystal Cottage holds a 4.94-star rating from 120 Airbnb guest reviews and ranks in Airbnb’s Top 5% of homes.
The lesson for investors
One-bedroom units are the most common rental size in the Sedona market. Standing out comes down to design and experience, not square footage, and small units can mean lower entry and furnishing costs.
